Lets Get Started!!

Open a new image in PSP, 1000 X 900 (You can resize later)

Copy and paste paper of choice, resize by 110% until canvas is covered

Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk, Apply WSL_Mask84

Effects, Eye Candy 4000, HSB Noise, 7, 30, 40, 0, 99.85, 99.12,

Smooth Lumps, Seamless Tile checked, Random Seed 1

Effects, PhotoEffex, Scanlines, Default Settings, Adjust Sharpen

Copy and paste Frame 3 from the CF Add On Folder in the kit, position to the right of your tag

Using your selection tool, draw a rectangle around the border of the frame,

Copy and paste paper of choice as a new layer, Selections, Invert, Delete, Select none

Move this layer under your frame layer, Selections, Select All, Float, Defloat

Copy and paste tube of choice or the FTU tube included in my supplies as a new layer

Selections Invert, Delete, Select None

Effects, Xero, Radiance, Default Settings, change Opacity to 80%

Copy and paste the Christmas Lights as a new layer, Image, Rotate, 90 degrees left, Image, Mirror

Position on the left side of your frame, Resize as needed

Copy and paste the Holly as a new layer, Resize as needed and position on the upper left corner of frame

Copy and paste the Christmas Tree element as a new layer, resize by 110%, position to the left of your tag

Copy and paste the berry branch element as a new layer, just above your mask layer

Postion so that you see it on the left side of your tree, Layers, Duplicate, Image, Mirror

Move to the right side of your tree, Layers, Duplicate, Move down to right bottom of tree

(See my tag fro reference)

Copy and paste Ribbon 2 from the kit as a new layer, between your frame and Christmas Tree layers

Image, Rotate by 90 degrees, position near the bottom of tag

Copy and paste the Snowman gift box as a new layer, position above the frame on bottom right

Copy and paste the Peppermint Drink as a new layer, position bottom right above the gift box

Copy and paste Christmas Candles as a new layer, resize by 80%, position near the bottom center of tag

Copy and paste the Christmas sign as a new layer, resize to your liking, position bottom left of tag

Copy and paste the Candy Cane 2 element as a new layer, resize to your liking,

position to the right of the Christmas Sign

Copy and paste your tube of choice or the FTU tube in my supplies as a new layer,

position in the center of your tag

Copy and paste the sparkles element as a new layer, resize by 80%,

move to right bottom section of tag, Image, Mirror

Add drop shadow of choice to all elements, except Sparkles and mask

Layers, Merge Visible

Xero, Bad Dream, 128, 35, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0

Xero, Improver, Default Settings

Xero, Tweaker, 10, 10, 10, 10, Image contains White checked

Add your copyright (if needed), tag info and name, Crop Tool, Merged Opaque, Click CheckMark,

Resize your tag to the size you want. Save as a png file and that's it! Your done!

This tutorial was written for those with a working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

I am using the exquisite artwork of Zlata_M @ Pics For Design, you will need a license to use 

this same tube and you can do that HERE

The gorgeous scrap kit and awesome template I am using are both from Vaybs,

Mask of choice and font of choice

Effects: (all are optional)

Eye Candy 4000 - Gradient Glow

PhotoEffex - Scanlines

Lokas 3D Shadow

Xero - Bad Dream

Xero - Tweaker

Okay, lets get started!

Open up Vabys Season of the Witch template in PSP

Delete the copyright layer and the small circle layer

Image, Canvas Size, 900 X 900 (We can resize later)

Copy paper of choice and paste as a new layer, 

just above the background layer, Apply mask of choice

Delete backgroud layer, (If you want a transparent tag)

Copy and paste the moon element as a new layer, Resize as needed

just above your mask, move to the right upper side

(see my tag for reference).

Copy and paste element 39 as a new layer, resize as needed

Position to the left side of the tag just above your moon layer

Layer, Duplicate, Edit, Mirror, Layer, Merge Down

Copy and paste element 37 as a new layer, resize as needed

Position to the left side bottom of the tag just above vines

Layer, Duplicate, Edit, Mirror, Merge Down

(see my tag for reference)

Copy and paste element 14, Grass, as a new layer, 

Resize so that the grass extends a little wider that the tag

Position at the bottom of your tag, just above your weeds layer

Activate the inner large rectangles layer, Select All, Float, Defloat

Layer, New Raster Layer, Flood fill with a color from the kit or your tube

Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel, default settings

Deselect, and delete the original large rectangles layer

Activate the inner Eclipse layer, Select All, Float, Defloat

Copy and paste paper of choice as a new layer

Selections, Invert, hit delete on your keyboard

Deselect, and delete the original inner Eclipse layer.

Activate your circle layer, Select All, Float, Defloat

Copy and paste the haunted house element from the kit as a new layer

Resize to fit inside the circle, Selections, Invert, hit delete on your keyboard.

Deselect, and activate your circle layer, 

Effects, PhotoEffex, Scanlines (default settings)

Adjust, Sharpen

Copy and paste the spider web from the kit as a new layer

Resize as needed, Adjust, Color Balance, Manual Color Correction

Change the black to orange or another color of your choice

Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel, Default settings

Activate the small inner rectangles, Select All, Float, Defloat

Layer, New Raster Layer, Flood fill with a color from your tube

Effects, PhotoEffex, Scanlines (default settings)

Adjust, Sharpen, Deselect

Copy and paste element 19 as a new layer, Resize as needed

Position on the right side of your tag, (See my tag for reference)

Copy and paste 37 as a new layer, Resize as needed

Position to the right side of your tag, just above the crystal ball

(See my tag for reference)

Copy and paste element 25 as a new layer, Resize as needed

Position to the left of your tag, (See my tag for reference)

Copy and paste your tube of choice as a new layer

Position in the center of your tag, Resize as needed

Copy and paste the Ouija board as a new layer, Resize by 110% - 120%

Position just above your tube layer covering the bottom of the tube

If any access of the tube is still showing, using your selection tool, delete it.

If using the same tube you may need to bring the lantern she is carrying

above the ouija board, is so, Activate your tube, using your freehand selection tool,

draw around the lantern, Selections, Promote Selection to layer, Deselect

Layer, Arrange Layer, Bring to Top

Activate your wordart layer, Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel, default settings

Effects, Eye Candy 4000, Gradient Glow, Fat, Black, 3, 0, 100, draw outside checked

Sharpen your tube and all elements

Add the following to your tube and all elements, except the moon and mask

Lokas 3D shadow, Default settings (or drop shadow of choice)

Layers, Merge, Merge Visible

Effects, Xero, Tweaker, all setting on 10 and contains black checked

Effects, Xero, Bad Dream, all settings default except Strength 36

Adjust, Brightness & Contrast, Clarity, 4

Add your copyright info and name, Save as a png 

That's it, your done!!

FTU - AUTUMN FEEL TUTORIAL

This tutorial was written for those with a working knowledge of PSP

Supplies:

Gorgeous FTU scrapkit called Autumn Feel from Scrap Dimensions, HERE

Beautiful "Fall Coat" tube by Ismael Rac, which you can purchase HERE

WSL Mask 56, which you can find HERE

Effects:

PhotoEffex - Scanlines (optional)

Xero - Porcelain, Tweaker, Improver (optional)

Eye Candy 4000 - Gradient Glow

Okay, Let's Get Started

In PSP, open a new image, 800 X 800 

(give yourself room to work, you can resize later)

Copy Paper 2 from the kit and paste as a new layer

Apply WSL mask 56, Merge Group

Effects, Blur, Gaussian Blur 10

Copy Paper 1 from the kit and paste as a new layer

Apply WSK mask 56 again, Merge Group

Effects, Blur, Gaussian Blur 10

Using your Raster Deform tool, shorten each mask so that 

there appears to be grass and fall sky both

Merge both Mask layers together

Effects, PhotoEffex, Scanlines, Sharpen

Copy and paste Element 4 as a new layer

Resize, position to the upper left of tag

Sharpen, Duplicate, Change Blend Mode to Multiply

On original wordart layer, add gradient glow, faint white, size 5

Copy and paste Element 11 as a new layer

Resize, Image, Mirror and place to right of tag

Copy and paste Element 16 as a new layer

Resize,Position so the large end is at the bottom left of your tag

Dulpicate, Resize by 80% and move this one slightly left

Duplicate, Resize by 80% again and move slightly right

Drop shadow all elements with drop shadow of choice

Sharpen all elements

Merge Visible, Crop Tool, Merged Opaque, Check

Effects, Xero, Porcelain (0 on all colors), Apply

Effects, Xero, Improver, default settings, Apply

Resize to 600 X 579 or whichever size you like best

Add your name, copyright and tag info

The gorgeous Scrap Kit I am using is FTU from Seashell Scrapz called Back To Nature,

Mask of choice. I am using WSL Mask 62, which you can find HERE

Font of choice. I am using Mousse Script, which you can find HERE

Okay, Let's get started....

Open a new image, 800 X 800, you can resize later

Floodfill, white

Copy and paste a paper of choice from the kit as as new layer

Resize by 25%

Apply mask of choice, merge group

Copy and paste Element 9 (Frame) from the kit as a new layer

Resize to your liking

Click inside the frame using your magic wand, 

Selections, Modify, Expand by 6, Deselect

Copy and paste paper of choice as a new layer

Layers, Arrange, Move Down

Resize by 25%

Selections, Invert, Delete, Deselect

Copy and paste Element 22 as a new layer

Place it above your wood frame layer, resize to your liking

Copy and paste Element 5 as a new layer

Resize to your liking and place on the left side of frame

Copy and paste Close Up tube of choice as a new layer

Place to your liking

Copy and paste Element 21 as a new layer above your tube

Resize to your liking

Using your freehand selection tool, draw around the stem 

Delete the stem, Deselect

Layers, Duplicate, Image, Mirror, Layers, Merge Down

Position flowers on top and at the bottom of your tag

Copy and paste Element 11 as a new layer

Resize to your liking

Position to the right top of your tube,

Drop Shadow all elements with Lokas 3D Shadow

From left column down, then right down

Adjust, Brightness/Contrast, Clarify all elements

Close out your mask layer and then merge visible

Effects, Zero Porcelain, 50, 128, 128, 0, 196, 196

Apply, Layers, Duplicate

Activate the bottom merged layer

Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur, 10, Repeat

Open the Mask layer and Merge Visible

Add your copyright info

Using font of choice add your name

I used Mouse Script, 50, Stroke 0

Effects, Eye Candy 4, Glass, 

Default, except change color to white

Effects, Eye Candy 4, Gradient Glow

Default settings, Fat, light color from your tag

I used a light yellow and light green combo

Add same Lokas 3D drop shadow

or drop shadow of choice

Merge visible and your done!!

FTU Valentine Love Tutorial

I wrote this tutorial for those with a working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies Needed:

Absolutely gorgeous FTU Valentine Bliss kit from Jessica at Gothic Inspirations HERE

Tube of Choice, I am using the beautiful artwork of Barbara Jensen HERE

Mask of choice, I am using SG Heart Burst HERE

Fonts of choice

Plugins Needed:

Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow

Eye Candy 5 Textures, Swirl

Xero, Porcelain

Lokas 3D Shadow (Optional)

Okay!! On to the Tutorial!!

Open a new image 700x700 (We can crop and resize later)

Copy and paste the heart frame from the kit onto your canvas

Choose two colors and make a foreground/background gradient

(I chose dark pink and purple)

With your Freehand Selection tool, draw around the frame

Layer, New Raster Layer, Move this layer under your frame

Floodfill your new layer with the gradient

Do not deselect yet

Effects, Eye Candy 5 Textures, Swirl, choose add swirl to original image

Random, 126.44, 21.26, 100, 75, Random Seed 1

Deselect

Copy and paste doodle of choice onto canvas, postion at bottom of frame

(I colorized some of my elements, but that is optional for you)

Copy and paste the cluster of hearts onto your canvas, Layers, Duplicate 

Image, Mirror, postion to your liking, see my tag for reference

Add any other elements from the kit that you like and position to your liking

Activate your swirl layer, copy and paste tube of choice

Add Lokas 3D Shadow of choice or Drop Shadow of your choice

With your Selection tool, Select the part of your tube that needs 

to be brought above the top of your heart frame, Selections, 

Promote selection to layer, Deselect

Add drop shadow of choice to your elements and frame

Using Font of Choice (I am using Mon Amour Script Pro and Franklin Gothic Medium)

Add ~Love~ at the bottom of your frame (or word of choice)

Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel

Add your name using font of choice as well, Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel,

Gradient Glow, 3, 0, 100, Fat, Black

Layers, New Raster Layer, Move layer to bottom, Floodfill with color of choice

Layers, Load/Save Mask, Add Mask from Disk, Load Hearts Burst mask or one of choice

Layers, Merge, Merge Group, Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel

Close out the Mask layer, Activate any other layer, Layers, Merge, Merge Visible

Layers, Duplicate, On Top Layer, Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur, 3, OK

Change Blend Mode to Soft Light, Layers,Merge Visible again, Layers Duplicate

On bottom layer, Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur, 10, Repeat, Layers, Merge Visible

Open Mask Layer, Layers, Merge, Merge Visible 

Effects, Xero, Porcelain, 50, 128, 128, 0, 0, 0

Crop Tool, Merged Opaque, Click Checkmark

Image, Canvas Size, 700 X 700, we can resize later
Delete copyright layer
Activate the Pink Circle layer, Selections, Select All, Float, Defloat
Copy Paper 2 from the kit, Paste as a new layer, Selections, Invert, Delete, Select None
Delete Pink Circle layer
Activate the Black Rectangle 2 layer, Selections, Select All, Float, Defloat
Copy Paper 8 from the kit, Paste as a new layer, Image, Resize by 80%
Position paper to your liking (I made sure the pink dotted line was in the middle
of the last row of hearts), Selections, Invert, Delete, Select None
Delete Black Rectangle 1 layer
Activate your Gray Square layer, Selections, Select All, Float, Defloat
Copy and Paste paper 5 from the kit, Image, Resize by 80%, Position to your liking,
Selections, Invert, Delete, Select None
Delete the Gray Square layer
Copy and paste your tube of choice just above your circle layers but under your black
rectangle 2 layer
Move your Heart 1 and Heart 2 layers underneath your tube layer
Choose a color from your tube and activate your SWAK wordart layer
Using your magic wand click on the black part of the wordart, Layers, New Raster Layer
Floodfill with your color choice from your tube
Do not deselect yet!!, Effects, Eye Candy 4000, Gradient Glow, Glass, 79.52, 100,
Inside Marquee, -42, 9, 50, 0, 50, color white, OK, Select None
Acivate the white circle layer, Selections, Select All, Float, Defloat
Layers, New Raster Layer, Floodfill with black, Selections, Select None
Delete White Circle layer
Activate the Pink Rectangle layer, Selections, Select All, Float, Defloat
Choose another color from your tube, Layers, New Raster Layer, Floodfill with your color
choice from your tube, Effects, Eye Candy 5 Textures, Animal Fur, Dalmation,
50, 60.99, 70, 80, Random Speed 333, Selections, Select None, Delete the Pink Rectangle layer
Copy and paste element 39 (sweet tarts ring) above your circle layers, Resize by 115%
Copy and paste any other elements of choice to your liking on your tag
Activate your background layer, floodfill white
Choose a dark color from your tag, Layers, New Raster Layer, Floodfill with color choice
Apply WSL Mask 84 or mask of your choice, Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Add a dropshadow of choice to all layers except the hearts and dotted line layers
Add your copyright info and name to your tag
Close out your white background layer, Layers, Merge, Merge Visible all the other layers
Crop Tool, Merged Opaque, Click Checkmark
Open White Background layer, Layers, Merge, Merge Visible
Resize Image to your liking, my tag is 550 X 492
