FTU Tutorial - Irish At Heart

I wrote this tutorial and any resemblance to another is purely coincidental   This tutorial was written for those with a working knowledge of PSP   Supplies:   I am using the gorgeous artwork of Keith Garvey, which you can purchase HERE  Beautiful FTU Scrapkit "With A Little Luck" by Ellanoir, which you can download HERE  Irish at Heart template by me, which you can download HERE   Effects:   Eye Candy 4000 Glass  Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow  Xero Radiance  Xero Improver   Okay Let's Get Started!!   Open my Irish at Heart template in PSP, Image, Canvas Size, Resize to 800 X 600  (We can crop and resize later)  Open Paper 15 from the kit, Resize by 30%, Image, Flip  Copy and Paste as a new layer just above your background layer  Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask of choice, Merge Group  Activate the Gray Oval, Selections, Select All, Float, Defloat  Open paper 20 from the kit, Resize by 20%  Copy and Paste as a new layer, Selections, Invert, Delete, Selections None  Delete the Gray Oval layer  Activate the black rectangle layer, Selections, Select All, Float, Defloat  Open paper 17 from the kit, Resize by 20% Copy and Paste as a new layer Selections, Invert, Delete, Selections None  Delete the Black Rectangle layer  Activate the left small circle, Selections, Select All, Float, Defloat  Open paper 18 from the kit, Resize by 20% Copy and paste as a new layer Position so you see a good gradient color Selections, Invert, Delete, Selections None  Delete Left Small Circle layer  Repeat the above steps for the Right Small Circle layer  Remember to delete the Right Small Circle layer when you are done  Merge down so that your two gradient circles are one layer  Selections, Select All, Float, Defloat  Copy and Paste tube of choice Postion to the left of the left circle  (See my tag for reference)  Selections, Invert, Delete Layers, Duplicate, Image, Mirror, Position  (See my tag for reference)  Merge Down Effects, Xero Radiance Default Settings, Set Opacity to 60%  Open Element 8 from the kit, Resize by 35%  Copy and Paste as a new layer just above the dotted circles layer  Effects, Eye Candy 4000, Glass, 15, 75, 42, 10, 50, 0, 50, Color White  Add any other elements from the kit to your liking  Copy and paste your tube of choice just underneath your wordart layer  Add drop shadow of choice to all layers, except rainbow and mask layer  Move rainbow layer up over rectangle layer  Activate your WordArt layer, Selections, Select All, Float, Defloat Layers, New Raster Layer, Floodfill with color of choice from tag Selections, None Delete original WordArt layer  Activate your  wordart layer Effects, Eye Candy 4000, Glass, 45, 75, 42, 10, 50, 0, 50, Color White Effects, Eye Candy 4000, Gradient Glow, 3, 0, 100, Fat,  Color Black Drop Shadow of choice  Delete background layer Crop tool, Merged Opaque, Click Checkmark  Layers, Merge, Merge Visible  Add Name and Copyright info  Effects, Xero Improver, Default Settings  Resize to your liking, I resized mine to 600 X 439  Save and you are done!!   I hope you enjoyed this tutorial!!  Remember if you make a tag with any of my tuts, email them to me   and I will show them off in the Tag Gallery!!
